Several month ago I hurt my wrist, and although I felt certain I had not broken it, I decided it would be a good idea to see a doctor to find the best course of action. I asked friends who they would recommend for something like this, and they recommended a Doctor Bobadilla who has offices on Calle 11. They said that he was a trauma specialist. I made an appointment and was able to see him that very afternoon. He said he did not believe there was any break at all, but suggested that just to be safe, I get an X-ray at the hospital across the street from his office. 

I went to the hospital and 15 minutes later I had my X-ray in hand taking it back to Dr. Bobabilla. The cost of the X-ray with 2 views of my wrist - 100 pesos... less than $10 U.S. It did confirm that there was no break or fracture and he treated it accordingly.
