Cozumel's Plan
The Foundation "Strategic Plan of Cozumel", A. C., a Cozumeleña company that has consulted with 45 different private and public institutions in the Island of Cozumel, with the purpose to plan the Cozumel of the year 2030, celebrated a meeting in the passed days, with the citizenship interested in building the Cozumel for the following generations.
The master of ceremonies, Isaac Uribe, delivered an editing of more than 20 pages, in which the different problems of the "Island of the Swallows", are classified in the following way, according to the different problems that at present they encounter in the island. 1.- Island Model of Sustainable Tourist Development, 2.- arts center of the Mexican Caribbean 3.- Model of Conservation of the Environmental Wealth and Rational Use of the Natural Resources. 4.- Orderly Urban Development with Quality in its Private and Public Spaces. 5.- Community Educated, Participatory, Respectful, Supportive and Healthy.
Emphasizing in the need, that all the population participate with input for the different needs of change, therefore he is sought to leave the next generation, a better quality of life in all aspects, that belong to the community, but was clarified that all this requires the participation of the local authorities.
Three details are emphasized in the information that was provided: 1.-Vision: Cozumel is the ideal island, the Mexican paradise, of world quality, with friendly people. 2.- Mission: Prompting a stable and orderly development, that elevate the standard of living in harmony, with the natural environment, and with its cultural identity. 3.- Values: Uprightness, respect, integrity and the loyalty |
